19th Century French Louis XVI Style Chairs! A set of two exquisite chairs with red and gold striped velvet fabric, uniquely framed wood painted in a goldish-tan color. Estimated dimensions: H 42 1/2 inches X W 21inches X D 19 inches. Chairs have fluted legs associated with the Neoclassical period. There is additional carving above the fluted legs which is very unusual. Also, the carving on the top of the chairs is very unique. They are simply gorgeous! Made approximately between 1750 and 1800.
